Stanley Green is the author of Revelation Part 1: DOD Whistleblower Ethics Complaint, a work rooted in his lifelong commitment to justice and truth. A humble native of his North Memphis’ Klondike neighborhood. Stanley was born the eleventh child and youngest son in a family of twelve siblings (six boys and six girls). Stanley’s parents celebrated seventy-seven (77) years of marriage. Stanley was profoundly inspired when his family attended Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s funeral in Atlanta, GA.
In 1981, Stanley enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving in the prestigious position as the Classified Custodian for the First Cavalry Division Fort Hood, TX. Stanley’s upbringing was deeply shaped by his dear parents, Willie V. Green, Sr. and Annie Bettye Davis Green, who were the pillars of their Klondike neighborhood and lifelong members of the Klondike Democratic Civic Club. His family’s legacy of civil rights activism is documented in Richard A. Couto’s memoir on the Davis family et al. organizing the first Tennessee Chapter of the NAACP in Haywood County, TN. Stanley’s ancestors played a pivotal role in igniting Black voter registration efforts in the early 1900’s, often at great personal risk to his family. His family sought to educate African Americans concerning the Enforcement Act of 1870. Stanley’s ancestors fled Brownsville, Tennessee, yet continued their activism elsewhere. His mother Annie Bettye Davis and her elder sister Maggie H. Isabel sought refuge in the City of Memphis. His aunt Maggie is now honored with a street near Second and Monroe of downtown Memphis. Many downtown residents may recall Maggie as a well-known professional seamstress. Mr. Green’s literary works and lifelong ambitions continue to reflect his family’s enduring values of faith, resilience, and community service. Stanley is truly being led by the Holy Spirit. Mr. Green’s favorite old-time gospel song is When the saints go marching in. Stanley believes that 144,000 faithful saints will join him paving the way for the Second Coming of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ! Wherefore, pride is the main impediment to our Lord’s return.
